Additional information and removal instructions for vehicles with an air conditioning system
  Caution
The air conditioning system refrigerant circuit must not be opened.
  Note!
To prevent damage to the condenser as well as damage to the refrigerant hoses, ensure that the pipes and hoses are not stretched, kinked or bent.
To facilitate removing and installing the engine without opening the refrigerant circuit:
–  Remove air conditioning system fluid reservoir an allow to hang down.
–  Release refrigerant line/hose retaining clamps.
–  Remove ribbed belt → Chapter.
–  Remove lock carrier and attachments: → General body repairs; Rep. Gr.50
–  Remove air conditioning system compressor: → Heater, air conditioning system; Rep. Gr.87
   
–  Secure air conditioning system compressor along with cooler and condenser to the side so that the refrigerant lines/hoses are not under stress.
