Exhaust gas recirculation system
  Note
t  In some cases, exhaust gases are added to the intake air by the exhaust gas recirculation valve -N18- . This mixture reduces the temperature in the combustion chamber, thus contributing to improve the composition of the exhaust gases.
t  The engine control unit manages the activation of the exhaust gas recirculation valve -N18- .
t  Thanks to the pulsed activation, the valve may be put in any position.
t  The potentiometer for exhaust gas recirculation -G212- sends the position of the exhaust gas recirculation valve -N18- to the engine control unit. The valve and the potentiometer are part of the same component.
t  If the exhaust gas recirculation valve -N18- is open and blocked, poor engine operation will be noted at idle speed.
