Exhaust gas temperature sender 3G495: Removing and installing.
Exhaust gas temperature sender 3 -G495-: Removing and installing.
t  Removing → Anchor.
t  Installing → Anchor.
Removing .
–  Remove Lambda probe -G39- → Chapter.
   
–  Unplug connector -5- for exhaust gas temperature sender 3 -G495- and move electrical wire clear.
  A23-10003
–  Remove the exhaust gas temperature sender 3 -G495--Pos. 1-.
  Note
Disregard -items 2 and 3-.
Installing .
l  Specified torque → Chapter.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

t  Apply hot bolt paste to the thread of the temperature sender → Spare parts catalogue.
t  Fit cable ties in the original positions when installing.

Location of the exhaust gas temperature sender 3 -G495--Pos. 1-:
l  Angled section of pipe faces towards left side of vehicle.
l  Angle -α- with regard to marking -arrow- = approx. 17°.
–  Install Lambda probe -G39- → Chapter.
