| To prevent injuries to persons and/or damage to the injection and ignition system, the following must be observed: |

| Do not touch or remove the ignition cables with the engine running or idling. |
| t
| The ignition must be switched off before connecting or disconnecting ignition system cables, including high voltage cables or tester cables. |
| t
| If the engine is to be turned at starter speed, without starting, e.g.: for compression pressure testing, the ignition coil and injector connectors must be removed. |
| t
| Always switch off the ignition before cleaning the engine. |
| Note the following if testers and measuring instruments have to be used during a road test: |
| t
| Testers and measuring instruments must always be secured to the rear seat and operated by a 2nd person from this location. |
| If test and measuring instruments are operated from front passenger's seat and the vehicle is involved in an accident, the person sitting in this seat could be seriously injured when the airbag is triggered. |
