1 - Toothed belt guard upper part
2 - Toothed belt
q   Mark direction of rotation before removing.
q   Check for wear
q   Do not kink
q   Removing, installing and tensioning → Chapter.
3 - Idler roller
4 - 27 Nm
5 - 65 Nm
q   Use counterhold tool -3036- to loosen and tighten
6 - Camshaft pulley
q   Note installation position: the narrow web of camshaft pulley faces outwards and the TDC No. 1 cylinder marking is visible.
q   Note position when installing toothed belt → Chapter, removing, installing and tensioning toothed belt.
7 - Tensioning roller
q   Removing, installing and tensioning toothed belts → Chapter
8 - Washer
9 - Toothed belt tensioner
q   Removing, installing and tensioning toothed belts → Chapter
10 - O-ring
q   Renew.
11 - Coolant pump
q   Check for ease of movement.
q   If damaged or leaking, renew complete.
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
12 - 15 Nm
13 - Crankshaft toothed belt pulley
14 - 90 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
q   Renew.
q   Use counterhold tool -3415- to loosen and tighten
q   Threads and shoulder must be free of oil and grease.
q   Turning further can be done in several stages.
15 - 20 Nm
16 - Toothed belt guard centre part
17 - Toothed belt guard lower part
18 - 10 Nm
q   Insert with locking fluid -D 000 600 A2-.
19 - Poly V-belt
q   Mark direction of rotation before removing.
q   Check for wear
q   Do not kink
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
20 - Pulley
q   For power assisted steering vane pump
21 - 25 Nm
22 - Belt pulley and vibration damper
q   Can only be installed in one position
q   Note position when installing toothed belt → Chapter, removing, installing and tensioning toothed belt.
23 - Tensioning device for poly V-belt
q   Swivel with open-end spanner to relax poly V-belt → Chapter, Removing and installing poly V-belt.
24 - 45 Nm
25 - Right engine mounting bracket
q   Removing and installing → Chapter Removing, installing and tensioning toothed belt
