Removing
→ Anchor

Fitting
→ Anchor
Removing

Remove turbocharger
→ Chapter
.
–
Disconnect electrical connector
-3-
at pressure differential sender -G505-.
–
Unscrew screw
-2-
and move hoses
-1-
clear from the bracket.
–
Move pressure differential sender -G505- to rear.
–
Remove the electrical connectors from the support and release.

For Lambda probe -G39-
4 -
For exhaust gas temperature sender 3 -G495-
–
Move particulate filter to rear.
–
Remove bolt
-1-
at retaining clamp for oil supply line.
Note
Ignore
-item 2-
.
–
Remove bolts
-1, 2-
and detach exhaust gas recirculation pipe.
–
Remove nuts
-arrows-
and detach heat shield.
–
Unscrew nuts
-arrows-
at exhaust manifold.
Caution
Risk of damage to oil supply line.
Do not attempt to bend oil supply line to a different shape.
–
Detach exhaust manifold.
Installing
Reassembly is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
Tightening torque

Note
Renew seals, gaskets and self-locking nuts.

Install turbocharger
→ Chapter

Electrical connections and routing
→ Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations
.
