1 - Clip
2 - Lower element on the case
3 - Work element
4 - Spring
5 - O-ring
6 - Upper element on the case

Checking the thermostat at bypass:
–  Removing the work element → Item
–  Heating the work element in a bath of coolant.
Opening begins: ca. 75 °C
Opening begins: ca. 85 °C
Opening stroke: ca. 5 mm
Position for fitting the thermostat at bypass:
Thermostat at bypass for the gear oil cooling circuit:
   The arrow on the lower element on the case points to the heating heat exchange.
Thermostat at bypass for the turbo-charger cooling circuit:
   The arrow on the lower element of the case points to the coolant circulation pump -V50-.
