  W00-1303
t  In order to extract the spark plugs, fit the extractor -T40039- into the upper wide rib -arrow- on the ignition coils with final power output stage.
t  If the lower grooves are used, damage may occur.
  A02-0392
–  Release the connectors, and disconnect all the connectors of the ignition coils at the same time.
  N28-10010
–  Extract all the ignition coils approx. 30 mm from their housing in the glow plug box, using the extractor -T40039-.
Installing
  Note
t  If new spark plugs are assembled, the ignition coils connections must be lubricated with the lubricating paste -G 052 141 A2-. This prevents the sealing hose of the ignition coil from »sticking« to the spark plug. The lubricating paste must be distributed when the ignition coils connections are fitted to the spark plugs .
t  The new ignition coils are already coated with lubricating paste when supplied.
  N28-10011
–  In the area of the sealing hose of the ignition coil -arrow-, apply a fine cord of lubricating paste -G 052 141 A2- around entire circumference. The bead must have a minimum thickness of 1 ... 2 mm.
–  Insert all the ignition coils loosely into the glow plug holes.
  N28-10079
–  Align the ignition coils with their connectors, and connect all the connectors to the ignition coils at the same time.
–  Press the ignition coils evenly down onto the glow plugs by hand.
