Spark plug test data
If the engine is to be turned at starter speed without starting:
t  Remove the fuse for the fuel pump control unit -J538- from the fuse holder. Fuse installation → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations
   
t  Remove all spark plug connections -arrows- from the spark plugs using an extractor -T10112A-.
  Note
t  If new spark plugs are assembled, the spark plug connections must be greased with the lubricating paste -G 052 141 A2-. This prevents the sealing hose of the spark plug connections from sticking to the spark plug. The lubricating paste must be distributed when the spark plug connections are fitted to the spark plugs → Fig..
t  New spark plug cables are already delivered lubricated.
