Removing and installing cowling with radiator fanV7
Removing and installing cowling with radiator fan -V7-
Removal:
–  Remove engine splash guard or noise insulation → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.50.
   
–  Unscrew fastening bolts -arrows- and remove air duct with intake hose -1-.
–  Remove air duct from air filter with spring-type clip pliers -VAS 5024A- → Chapter.

–  Release and unplug connector -arrow-.
–  Remove front bumper → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.63
–  Move lock carrier to service position → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.50.

–  Disengage cowling with radiator fan -V7- from locking hook using a suitable tool.
–  Remove cowling together with radiator fan -V7- upwards from brackets.
–  Remove cowling together with radiator fan -V7- downwards.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse sequence of removal. Note the following:

Tightening torque
