Check the tool and equipment equivalence table according to the applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter
   
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Spark plug socket and extension -3122 B-
t  Extractor -T10112-
t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-
t  Compression tester -V.A.G 1763- with adapter -V.A.G 1763/6-

Test prerequisite:
l  Engine oil temperature at least. 30 ℃
l  Speedometer must be okay.
Operation process
–  Remove engine cover .
   
–  Remove the connector for the ignition transformer -N152-.
–  Pull all connectors off the outer injectors.

–  Disconnect the spark plug hood off with extractor -T10112- .
–  Remove the spark plugs using the spark plug spanner -3122 B-.
–  Check compression with compression tester -V.A.G 1763- and the adapter -V.A.G 1763/6- .
  Note
Use of the testing equipment → Instructions.
–  Have a second mechanic operate starter.
Operate starter until pressure reading on tester no longer rises.

–  When work has finished, consult the fault memory and delete all faults memorized during testing and repair.
  Note
After deleting the event memory, the readiness code must be generated: → Vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051„Guided Functions“.
