Checking cylinder head for distortion > < Cylinder head

Check that the cylinder head is not deformed → Chapter
   
1 - 23 Nm
q   Insert with locking fluid.
2 - Camshaft wheels
3 - 100 Nm
q   Use counterhold -3415- to loosen and tighten
4 - 10 Nm
q   Insert with locking fluid.
5 - Rear notched belt guard
6 - Woodruff key
7 - Seal
q   Renew
8 - 10 Nm
9 - Breather connection
10 - Special bolt - 9 Nm
q   Renew if damaged or leaking.
11 - Seal
q   Renew if damaged or leaking.
12 - Sealing plug
13 - Cylinder head cover:
q   Loosen the screws from the outside to the inside for removal.
q   Tighten the screws from the inside to the outside for fitting.
14 - Cylinder head cover gasket
q   Renew if damaged or leaking.
q   Insert the spacer sleeves → Item
15 - Cylinder head bolt
q   Renew
q   Observe sequence when loosening and tightening → Chapter.
16 - 10 Nm
17 - Hall sender -G40-
18 - O ring
q   Renew
19 - Cylinder head
q   Removing → Chapter
q   Check for deformations → Chapter
q   Reworking dimensions → Fig.
q   Installing → Chapter
q   Renew coolant after replacing cylinder head gasket
20 - Joint mouth
21 - 10 Nm
22 - O ring
q   Renew
23 - Cylinder head gasket
q   Fitting position: The component No. should point toward the cylinder head and be legible from the intake side.
q   Renew coolant after replacing cylinder head gasket
