t  The engine is filled with oil at the factory which allows for long maintenance intervals.
t  Engine oils which comply with standard VW 501 01 or 502 00 can continue to be used. Program the maintenance interval display respectively → Booklet101.
   
Markings on oil dipstick (Version A)
1 - max. marking
2 - min. marking
a - Oil level in the range of the Max. marking: do not refill with oil.
b - Oil level in the middle area: oil can be refilled
c - Oil level in the range of the Max marking: Refill with approx. 0.5 l oil.
