Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Diagnosis tester -VAS 5051B-, -VAS 5052-, -VAS 5052A-
l  Customary computer or laptop
l  CD-ROM for adapting the software → Electronic spare parts catalogue
l  Diagnosis cable kit → Electronic spare parts catalogue
   
–  Connect the diagnosis line to the diagnosis connection -arrow-.
The diagnosis connector is located in the vicinity of the coolant expansion tank.

–  For establishing contact, press the F3 button.
The connection established is displayed in segment -arrow-.
–  Press the F6 button.

–  Restart the diagnosis using the segment -arrow-.
If no fault is registered, close the window with X button.
–  End the diagnosis with the F10 button.
If a fault is registered, proceed as follows:
–  Check the lines and connections according to the circuit diagram, when necessary, repair or replace the component.
t  Valve for the gas tank -N495-
t  Sensor for the gas distribution rail -G401-
t  Intake manifold pressure sender -G71-
t  Sender for the gas supply display -G707-
t  Gas injector 1 -N366- to gas injector 4 -N369-
–  After completing the repair, erase fault memory → Chapter.
