Functions and components adjusting

Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 5051B-, see equivalent → Anchor

t	Diagnosis cable 3 m -VAS 5051/5A- or diagnosis cable 5 m -VAS 5051/6A- or diagnosis cable -VAS 5052/3-1-, see equivalent → Anchor

–	Connect the central diagnosis -VAS 5051- or central diagnosis -VAS 5052- with the relevant cable.

Select the function „Guided Fault Finding“ in the vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 5051/-.

Once you have consulted all of the control units:

–	Press the „Go to“ button.

–	Select „Function/component selection“.

–	„Select drive“

–	Select „Engine code“.

–	Select „01 Systems capable of self-diagnosis“.

–	Select „engine control“.

–	Select „Functions“.

–	Select „Function or component“.
