Activate the fuel pump relay J17 > < Activate the exhaust recirculation valve N18 :

Indicate the engine revs signal:

Note!

This test is only possible on vehicles equipped with a rev counter. On the vehicles without rev counter, the final control diagnosis can be continued by pressing the key →, when the following message appears.

Press →.

Reading on display:

The rev counter should read approx. 3000 rpm until the key → is pressed to activate the following activator.

If no there is no reading:

–	Test the wiring to the rev counter Rev signal: testing → Chapter
