Note! The removal and installation of the brake servo can vary a little from the following description, according to the mechanization and vehicle equipment |

| Check whether a coded radio is fitted and if so consult the anti-theft code. |

| Disconnect the battery. |

| Disconnect the brake warning lamp sender connector. |
–
| Remove the coolant liquid expansion tank and set it to one side. |
–
| Separate flexible vacuum pipe from servo brake. |
–
| Unscrew the two supports from the clutch haul-in. |
–
| Remove control unit and hydraulic unit → Chapter |
–
| Unscrew the brake pipes from the master cylinder; seal brake pipes with plugs from repair kit, part No. -1H0 698 311 A-. |
Continued for all vehicles |
–
| Remove lining situated below the dash panel. |
–
| Fit and adjust brake pedal switch -F47-. |
–
| Separate the brake pedal from the servo brake → Chapter |
–
| Unbolt the brake servo. |
–
| Bring out the brake servo forwards along with the master cylinder and remove. |
Install in reverse order. |

| After installation, bleed the brake system for air → Chapter |
