Bleeding the brake system without the brake bleeding apparatus SAT 1150 > < Brake system: air bleeding, vehicles with and without ABS

Brake system: bleed air with the filling and bleeding aparatus for brakes SAT 1150

  Note!
In vehicles with ABS, the bleeding of the brakes is carried out in the same wat as vehicles with a conventional braking system.
–  Connect brake bleeding apparatus -SAT 1150-.
–  Open bleeding screws in the prescribed order and bleed the wheel brake cylinders and clips.
Bleeding sequence
1 - Wheel brake cylinder/brake clip rear right
2 - Wheel brake cylinder/brake clip rear left
3 - Front right brake clip
4 - Front left brake clip
Vehicles with ABS
With these vehicles, after having bled the air, a test run must be carried out. During the test run at least one operation of the ABS must be carried out.
  Note!
In vehicles with braking force regulator, the regulator lever has to be moved during the bleeding of the rear brake.
