Bleeding the brake system using the brake bleeder SAT 1175B > < Brake system: bleeding of air

Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 505X-

t  Brake de-airing device - SAT 1175B -
–  Connect the brake bleeder -SAT 1175B-. Consider the → operating instructions of the brake bleederSAT 1175B.
–  Adjust the pressure of the brake bleeder -SAT 1175B- according to the control unit of the brake system installed in the vehicle. See → Anchor.

–  Remove the protective cap -1- of the bleeder screws of the brake callipers of the front axle.
  Note
Mount the hose of the collector bottle -SAT 1175B/1- accurately on the bleeder screws so that no air enters the connection.

–  Connect the hose -1- of the collector bottle -SAT 1175B/1- to the bleeder screws of the brake calliper on the front axle.
–  Open the bleeding bolts.
–  Leave the bleeding bolts open and only close when brake liquid appears without any air bubbles.
–  Remove the hose of the collector bottle -SAT 1175B/1- and place a protective cap on a bleeding bolt of the brake calliper.
–  Tighten the bleeding bolts to the specified tightening torque. See → Chapter
–  After carrying out the operations described above, bleed the brake calliper / cylinder of the rear axle.
–  Bleed the control unit of the brake system using the vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 505X - according to the instructions in chapter → Chapter.
–  After ending the procedure using the vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 505X -, switch off the ignition and disconnect the diagnostic connector.
–  Continue according to the instructions of section → Chapter.
