| The brake system (hydraulic unit, hoses, pipes and callipers) must be leak-free and in perfect working order. |

| Remove the bleeding bolt from one of the front brake callipers. Connect the brake system tester -VAG 1310A- and purge the air. |

| Press the pedal until the pressure gauge indicates 50 bar. The drop in pressure which is registered during this 45 second test should not be more than 4 bar. If it is more than this, the master brake cylinder should be replaced. |
