Removing and installing anti-roll bar
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-, see equivalent → Anchor.
Removal:
–  Remove noise insulation.
  W00-0427
–  Unscrew bolt -4-.
  A40-0389
–  Unscrew hexagon nuts -2-.
–  Remove the stabiliser together with the bar. Take apart if a replacement should be necessary.
Installation
  Note
t  If renewing the anti-roll bar, check the suspension version fitted on the vehicle.
t  Grease should not be present on stabiliser and bearings.
  A40-0077
–  Fit new nuts -2-, but do not tighten yet.
  A40-0077
–  Tighten the new bolt-4- to the specified torque → Item.
  A40-0389
–  Tighten nuts -2- to 25 Nm.
–  Install soundproofing. → Rep. gr.50
