Removing

t  Torque wrench -SAT 8010-
  W00-2760
t  Measuring tool -T20030-
  Note
t  The bearings will be damaged, the weight of the vehicle is excessive and will reduce the useful life as a consequence.
t  Oil the contact surface for the dodecagonal nut.
t  The complete half shaft cannot be separated from the wheel hub without using the extractor -T20001-.
t  Ensure that there is enough space available for the extraction of the complete half shaft without damaging it.
t  The half shaft should never be left suspended, because the internal joint would be damaged by bending.
t  If the vehicle has to be moved when the half shaft has been removed, an exterior joint must be fitted instead of the half shaft and tightened to 50 Nm to avoid damage to the wheel bearing.
