Removing
Removing
–  Remove the air filter → Injection and ignition system; Rep. Gr.24.
   
–  Fit the support stand -U-30025E-.
  Note
Before fitting the hooks of the tool, the hose connections and cables in the area of the lifting eyes of the engine tackle must be removed so as not to damage them.
–  Tighten the drive train using the spindles.

–  Extract the bolt -1-from the engine console on the right hand side subframe. If fitted, the attachment plate -A- for the cable connector must be removed.
–  Extract the bolt on the left hand side gearbox bracket.
–  Raise the vehicle.

–  Mark the installation position of the bolts -arrows-.
–  Remove the bolts -arrows-.

–  Unscrew the steering mechanism from the subframe (bolts -1-) and secure it to one side using a wire.
–  Release the power steering intake and pressure pipes from the subframe/gearbox bracket.
–  Place the engine and gearchange elevator -SAT 1001 A- beneath the subframe.
–  Unscrew the suspension element on the subframe.
–  Unscrew bolts -1- and -3- from the subframe.
–  Lower the subframe using the engine and gearbox elevator -SAT 1001 A-.
–  Ensure that the steering gear is released from the subframe.
