Installation
Installation
–  Install in reverse order to dismantling, noting the following.
   
The end of the spring -arrow- must remain in contact with the end of the lower support.
–  Install spring together with spring seat.

–  Fit the coil spring on the lower transversal swinging arm so that the pivot fits in the opening -arrow-.
  E42-10010
–  Insert the support tool -T20193A- in the coil spring, as shown in the figure. Once the tool is fitted, hand tighten the bolts holding the tool to the spring perimeter.
  WARNING
Tighten the lateral bolts again so that the spring is compressed or decompressed.
–  Compress the coil spring sufficiently.
–  Move the transversal swinging arm upwards -arrow- until it engages on the steering knuckle and then partially insert the bolt.
  WARNING
Never use a hydraulic jack.

–  Turn the transversal swinging arm on itself by moving the lower section upwards, until it is possible to insert all the bolt -arrow 2-.
–  Partially tighten the bolt -arrow 2- .

–  Fit the off-centre washer and the bolt -B- in the position marked previously.
–  Fit the other off-centre washer on the side of the nut -A-, partially tighten the nut.
–  Release the coil spring and remove the support tool -T20193A -.
  Note
The lower swinging arm should only be tightened to the subframe and stub axle once the measurement taken before removal is reached -a- → Chapter.

–  Tighten the lower transversal swinging arm to the subframe.

–  Tighten the lower transversal swinging arm -arrow- .
  WARNING
The level sender rod should point towards the outside of the vehicle

–  Fit the link rod of the vehicle level sender -G76--arrow A-.

–  Fit and secure wheel → Chapter.
