Removal:
  WARNING
The vehicle must be secured to the lifting platform, else the it could slip.
   
–  Secure the vehicle with support tool -T10038 - on both sides of the lifting platform.
–  Slightly raise the corresponding wheel suspension using the motor driven lift - V.A.G 1383 A-.

–  Remove bolts -arrows-.

–  Remove bolt -arrow-.
–  Remove shock absorber.
  Note
Do not leave the motor driven lift -V.A.G 1383 A- underneath the vehicle longer when not working.
