Left steering rod: verification and adjustment of the length
Left steering rod: verification and adjustment of the length
The steering rods can only be removed and fitted with the power steering removed → Chapter.
   
–  Ensure that the left hand side link rod coincides with the scale -a- and, if necessary, adjust it.
Measurement -a- = 381.3 ± 1 mm.
–  Screw in the steering rod and secure it with the counter nut.
  Note
If the steering bars are new, the measurement -a- must be verified before fitting them and adjusted if necessary.
