Centred housing of wheel: protect from corrosion
Centred housing of wheel: protect from corrosion
Valid for light alloy and steel rims
When changing a tyre, wax the centred housing of the wheel with wax spray → Parts catalogue to avoid corrosion between the centre housing and the wheel rim.
–  Thoroughly clean the centred housing of the wheel in the area of the wheel hub and the centre of the rim.

–  Apply wax → Parts catalogue to the centre of the rim -arrow- with a paintbrush.
  WARNING
Only apply wax to the centre of the rim -arrow-; wax must not get on the support surface of the rim. Otherwise, the brakes will get dirty during running causing the brakes to malfunction.
Never wax the wheel bolts, or the support surfaces and wheel and hub threads. Do not apply lubricants or anticorrosive products to the threads of the wheel bolts.
