  Note!
Obtain the radio unit code number from the customer before removing the radio. If the radio unit is replaced, it is very important that the anti-theft coding is deactivated → Chapter. The new code number should be given to the customer.
Before beginning dismantling work, perform the following steps:
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.
   
–  Slide the radio release tools -T10057- into the release slots -arrows- until they catch.
Top L = left
Top R = right

–  Pull radio unit out of dash panel in the -direction of the arrow- using grip rings of release tools.

–  Release adapter set connectors -1, 2 and 3- and pull them off.
Pulling out release tools:

–  Push in locking tab -arrow- and pull release tool out forwards.
