Removing and installing steering column combination switchE595 (manufacturer: Valeo)
Removing and installing steering column combination switch -E595- (manufacturer: Valeo)
  Caution
The removal and installation of individual components of the steering column switch must be performed in a specified sequence → Chapter.
Removing:
–  Remove steering wheel → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.69.
–  Remove steering column trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.68.
   
–  Remove steering column electronics control unit -J527- → Chapter.
–  Disengage both catches -arrows- at the top and the catch at the bottom -arrow- of the steering column combined control -E595- completely and straight to the rear in order to take it off the base support of the steering column combined control.
Installing:
–  Push steering column combination switch -E595- straight into guides on base of steering column switch until it securely engages.
–  Install all components in reverse order of removal.
