Installing repair kit for headlight housing

Note

t	Broken-off headlight retaining tabs can be renewed by installing repair kit. Therefore there is no need to replace the entire headlight.

t	Different repair kits are available for both left and right side headlights → Parts catalogue.

Checking sequence

–	Remove headlight with broken retaining tabs → Chapter.

–	Remove remaining parts of broken retaining tabs from headlight housing.

–	Position mounting lugs -1-,-2- and -3- from repair kit on headlamp housing and fasten lugs with screws -4-.

Tightening torque

Components:	Nm
Headlamp to lock carrier	4,5
