Light detection sensorG399: Removing and installing
Light detection sensor -G399-: Removing and installing
The light detection sensor -G399- is integrated in the base of the rear view mirror and cannot be replaced separately. In event of failure, the complete rear view mirror must be replaced.
–  Rear view mirror: removing and installing → Bodywork, interior fitting work; Rep. gr.68
–  After installing a new light detection sensor -G399- the main beam assist control unit -J844- in the base of the rear view mirror has to be encoded → Chapter.
  Note
After installing a new light detection sensor, it has to be calibrated. The system calibrates itself automatically during operation. Parameters for correction are requested.
