Cornering light and headlight range adjustment control unitJ745 ►02.09: Removing and installing
Cornering light and headlight range adjustment control unit -J745- ►02.09: Removing and installing
Removing:
   
–  Disconnect ignition and all electrical loads, and remove ignition key.

–  Remove the side trim-1- from the instrument panel, by inserting for example, lever -U-30800- and levering it off.

–  Unscrew bolts -1- and remove the adaptive cornering light and headlight range adjustment control unit -J745-.
–  Unlock the fastening -2- in the direction of the -arrow- and remove the connector -1- from the adaptive cornering light and headlight range adjustment control unit -J745-.
Installing:
  E94-10088
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, noting the following:
–  Lock the connector -1- by pressing the fastening -2- in the direction shown by the -arrow-.
–  Fix the unit with the two bolts.
  Note
After installing a new power module for headlights, the curve light and headlamp range control control unit → Chapter must be encoded; then the basic adjustment must be made of the headlights → Booklet101.
–  Check headlight functions.
–  Check headlight setting and adjust headlight as necessary → Booklet101.
