Number plate light: removing and fitting

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Lever -U 30800-

Removing

–	Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

–	Turn light switch to position „0“.

–	Using the lever -U 30800-, remove the number plate light -1- from the tailgate.

–	Pull out the plug -2-.

–	Remove the lamp without the socket (W5 W 12W) -1- in the direction -arrow-.

Installing

Install in reverse order to dismantling, noting the following.

–	Fit new bulbs in bulb holder; do not touch the glass part of the bulb with bare hands.
