Structure-borne sound control unit -J869-: removing and installing
  Caution
Proceed with care when removing the plug connector as well as the device as the retaining tab of the bracket is fragile.
It is located in the right area of the plenum chamber, behind the bumper mount.
Removing:
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.
   
–  Remove the air grille below the windscreen → Chapter.
–  Disconnect the connector -1- on the control unit for structure-borne sound -J869-.
–  Pull the retaining clips of the bracket in the direction of the -arrows- to enable the control unit for structure-borne sound -J869- to be removed.
Installing:
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence.
