| Remove electrolyte from the battery |

| If the level of electrolyte is too high the surplus may be removed with an acid extractor until the level of liquid matches the inside mark, i.e. the plastic bridge. |

| Once the liquid has been added or removed, only the original plugs can be screwed back onto the battery. |
| To guarantee an airtight seal of the battery the original caps of the battery should be used to close the orifices. |
| In case of loss or deterioration, only caps of the same manufacturer should be used. |
| The caps should have seal rings. |
