Removing and installing the spray jet > < Removing and installing rubber grommet

Removing and installing washer pumpV5
Removing and installing washer pump -V5-
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Drip tray
Removal:
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and take out ignition key.
–  Remove front wheel (left-side).
   
–  Remove front left wheel housing liner → Rep. gr.66.
–  Unplug the electrical connector -5-.
–  Place a recipient under washer water reservoir.
–  Release retaining clips -3- in direction of -arrows- and disconnect washer fluid hoses -1- and -2- from washer pump.
–  Remove the windscreen washer pump -V5--Pos. 4- upwards out of the windscreen washer system.
  Note
  A92-10139
t  Renew the bracket for the washer pump -V5- if damaged.
t  Using a screwdriver, pry damaged bracket -1- out of retainer in washer fluid reservoir -2- towards outside of vehicle -arrow-.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order, noting the following:
–  Check sealing grommet for damage.
–  Install front wheel housing liner (left-side) → Rep. gr.66.
