Control unit coding

This function may be used to code the radio, by proceeding as follows:

t	Radio set-up

t	Sound system

t	Number of passive speakers

t	Country identification

Notes:

t	The coding is used to set up the different combination possibilities for the radio sets.

t	The designation “aerial with remote supply” refers to the aerials, e.g. rear window aerial, supplied through the AF cable.

t	Coding must be carried out in terms of the equipment that is fitted in the vehicle.

Performing the coding

Indication on the display:

–	Press keys 0 and 7. (07 is used to select the function “Code control unit”).

–	Code number according to the coding table → Chapter

t	00117: radio unit with CD changer, second display, aerial on rear window, BOSE-Sound, 1 passive speaker front left.
