Self-diagnosis: carrying out > < Self-diagnosis and fault finding with the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051

Radio self-diagnosis

For the moment the “Arosa” radio can be submitted to a self-diagnosis test using the -V.A.G 1551-.

The self diagnosis must be initiated at the commencement of fault finding and the stored information interrogated with the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system -VAS 5051-, fault reader -V.A.G. 1551- or vehicle system tester -V.A.G 1552-

–	Remove the ashtray casing -1- from the central console.

The following description deals only with the fault reader -V.A.G 1551-.
