Dismounting
Dismounting
–  Extract the engine cover.
  Note!
In order to carry out these jobs, it is necessary to remove the ground strip from the battery. For this purpose, you must check whether the vehicle has a coded radio on board, consulting, where appropriate, the anti-theft code.
–  With the ignition disconnected, remove the ground strip from the battery.
   
–  Remove the inlet flexible tube -1-, the connecter -2- and the flexible tube -3- for the air quantity meter.
–  Extract the casing of the air filter casing by removing the bolts -4- and -5- → Rep. Gr.24.

–  Take out the connector from the sensor for the coolant liquid level -arrow 1-.
–  Take out the side cover for the cooling water tank by pulling it upwards.
  Note!
Do not open the cooling system.
–  Disconnect the cooling water tank -arrow 2- and move it to one side without forcing any flexible tube.
  Note!
When handling the brake liquid tubes, take care not to allow any liquid to spill onto the bodywork.

–  Extract the flexible tube for reflux -A- which leads to the brake liquid tank and block it up.
–  Extract the clip -B- that attaches the piping/flexible tube to the clutch pump, by levering it out with a screwdriver.
–  Take out the piping/flexible tube unit -C- from the clutch pump and block it up.
–  Dismount the objects-holder and the lower cover from the driver's side → Bodywork assembly work; Rep. Gr.68.
Vehicles with switch on the clutch pedal
  E30-0031
–  Uncouple the connector -1- on the clutch pedal switch.
–  Extract the clutch pedal switch from its housing.
–  When extracting the attachment sleeve from the clutch pedal switch, it is damaged, always replace.
Continue for all the vehicles

Unblock the clutch pedal, of the rod for working of the pump as described below:
–  Place the tool -T20059A- on the flanges of the housing -arrow-, using the tips -T20059A/1- with a Ø of 5.6 with the cross-shaped reeding, in such a way that the longest tip will remain on the right side of the pedal.
–  Compress the flanges of the housing with the tool -T20059A-, and move the clutch pedal backwards at the same time.

Extract the bolts -arrows- and take out the clutch pump with its seal.
  Note!
Always replace the bolts and the seal.
