Installing

Install in reverse order to dismantling, noting the following:

Only if gear engagement or selection cables, securing elements are replaced or if these elements have been separated:

–	Apply a small amount of polycarbamide grease in the securing element casting -arrows- of the gear engagement cable -A-, and selector cable -B-.

Note

The external sealing lips -arrows- of the bowl must be kept completely free of grease.

–	Fit the exhaust system → Rep. gr.26 .

–	Fit the crossbeam to the bodywork → Rep. gr.26 .

–	Adjust selector mechanism → Chapter.

Tightening torques

Securing the protection box to the bodywork	25 Nm
Cable counter support to gearbox	25 Nm
Bracket to bodywork	25 Nm
