  Note
t  Heat the inner ring of the roller bearing to 100 ºC before fitting.
t  Replace both conical roller bearings together.
t  If tapered roller bearings, differential cage, gearbox housing or clutch housing is renewed, adjust differential → Chapter.
1 - Countersunk bolt, 25 Nm
q   Screw into threaded piece → Item
2 - Right flange shaft
q   Do not mix up with the left hand side shaft
3 - Compression spring for flange shaft
q   Installed behind flange shafts
4 - Thrust washer
q   Fitting position: the collar faces the spring
5 - Conical ring
q   Fitting position: conical side facing the differential casing
6 - Circlip
q   Holds tapered ring, thrust washer and spring in position when flange shaft is removed
7 - Planet gear
q   Installing → Fig.
8 - Threaded piece
q   Installing → Fig.
9 - Planet gear shaft
q   To remove, cut the tension sleeve → Item
q   Installing → Fig.
10 - Planetary gears
q   Installing → Fig.
11 - Set of thrust washers
q   Lubricate with gear oil before installing
q   Complete modified thrust washer assembly → Fig.

12 - Left flange shaft
q   With dust plate.
q   Do not mix up with the right hand side shaft

q   Left and right diameters differ
q   replace with gearbox installed → Chapter
14 - S1 shim
q   For differential
q   always 1 mm thick
15 - Outer track, roller bearing
q   Remove → Fig.
q   Driving in → Fig.
16 - Tapered roller bearing inner race
q   Pressing out → Fig.
q   Driving in → Fig.
17 - Differential casing
q   with riveted final drive group
q   Matched to the secondary shaft; these must be replaced together
q   Complete modified thrust washer assembly → Fig.

18 - Spring pin
q   For securing differential pinion pin
q   Extract the securing sleeve
19 - Tapered roller bearing inner race
q   Pressing out → Fig.
