Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Push rod -T20130-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Hose clamp -T20133-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Push rod -T20135-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Extractor kit -U 40100B-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Kit (case) -U-40200A-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Kit (case) -U-40300-, see equivalent → Anchor

   
Insert the input shaft seal so it is flush
  E34-0277
Remove the sleeve for the flanged shaft seal
  E34-0278
Insert the sleeve for the flanged shaft seal
–  Use the fitting tool -T20133- screwing in the spindle of the fitting equipment onto the threaded part of the differential.
–  Rotate the nut -A- until the bush is inserted all the way using the fitting tool -T20133-.
  Note
With the gearbox apart, press the bush to the limit using the adapter -U-40200/14-.

Remove the selector shaft bush -A-
–  For fitting, insert the bush by the selector shaft cover zone using the tool -T20135- on the side -1-.
Replacement: Always when the gearbox is disassembled.
