  Note

Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.

Removing and installing pipe and hose assembly on the master cylinder
  Note
When removing the pipe / hose lines of the cylinder, use the hydraulic seal adapters to avoid liquid leaking onto the body.
  E30-10004
–  To remove, the safety fastener must be released -3- with a screwdriver, and the pipe and hose line must be pulled off -1- from the master cylinder -4-.
–  For installing, the pipe and hose line must be pressed into the master cylinder together with the new O-ring -2- until the safety fastener -3- is audibly secured.
–  Pull assembly, pipes and hose to check it is properly secured.
