1 - Flywheel
q   removing and fitting → Rep. gr.13
q   Ensure that centring pins are correctly seated
q   The clutch lining contact surface must be free of grooves, oil and grease
2 - Clutch plate
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
q   Clutch plate diameter → Chapter
3 - Thrust pad
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
q   Check the ends of the diaphragm → Fig.
q   Checking spring connection and rivets → Fig.
4 - Bolt, 20 Nm
q   Slacken and tighten diagonally in stages

l  Wear of up to half the thickness of the diaphragm is permissible.
  Note
For repairing the pressure disc and the clutch plate, it is essential to assign according to the engine codes → Electronic spare parts catalogue „ETKA“.

Check flexible connection and riveted unions
–  Check flexible connection between pressure disk and cover for cracks and check that riveted unions are correctly seated.
–  Replace clutches with damaged springs or loose riveted unions -arrows-.
