Dismantling and assembling output shaft > < Check 3rd / 4th gear synchroniser ring for wear

Removing and installing the 3rd and 4th gear mobile sleeve and synchromesh unit
   
Removing and installing the 3rd and 4th gear mobile sleeve and synchromesh unit
–  To disassemble, the springs must be removed -1-.
2  - Mobile element
3  - Synchro-hub
4  - Locking keyways
–  To fit, slide the mobile sleeve onto the synchromesh. Fitting position:
l  The thinnest grooves -arrow A- of the synchromesh are aligned with the grooves -arrow B- of the mobile sleeve.

–  Fit the locking elements in the thinnest grooves -arrows- and fit the securing springs off-set by 120º.
l  The spring should point towards the slanted end of the locking pin.
