  Note
t  Before disconnecting the battery, ensure that the ignition key is not in the ignition switch.
t  Observe the safety measures to be adopted when disconnecting the battery → Electrical system; Rep. gr. 27
–  Disconnect the battery earth strap.
–  Remove engine cover → Booklet2.
–  Remove the air filter body, breather hose and air duct hoses → Rep. gr.24 and → Rep. gr.23 .
   
–  Remove the battery → Electrical system; Rep. gr.27 .
–  Release bolts -arrows- and remove battery bracket.

–  Release the electric clutch pedal position sender -G476- from the master cylinder -arrow -, along with the electric connector -4- still connected
  Note
-Items 1, 2 and 3- can be disregarded.
