| The 5-speed automatic gearbox 09B has five hydraulically actuated forward gears. The 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th gears, when locked up, become mechanically driven gears by eliminating torque converter slip. |
| The torque converter is equipped with a lock-up clutch. The lock-up clutch locks up depending on load and speed. The 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th gears can be driven mechanically (without slip). |
| The ATF is filled for life. The ATF need not be changed during a service. |
