Removing
–  Remove gear selector mechanism → Chapter.
   
–  With a screwdriver, open the tabs -arrows- of the gear selection mechanism base plate and remove this.
–  Remove gasket.

–  Remove securing washers -1 ... 4- and remove engagement and selection control cables from the gear mechanism casing.

Release the attachment element
–  Release the cable securing element -A- for the gear engagement and selection cables -B- as follows:
–  Press moveable sleeve forwards as far as it will go -arrow 1-.
–  Turn moveable sleeve to the right as far as it will go -arrow 2- and secure.
–  Remove securing elements from control cables.

–  Remove safety washers -1- and -2-.
–  Remove support from control cables.
