  Note
t  Fixing gearbox to installation stand → Chapter.
t  If the secondary shaft or roller bearings are replaced, the secondary shaft must be adjusted.
t  Whenever new meshes or a new secondary shaft are fitted consult the technical data.
t  Replace both conical roller bearings together.
   
1 - Clutch housing
2 - Packing plate
q   0.65 mm in thickness
3 - Outer ring of conical roller bearing
q   Remove → Fig.
q   Insertion → Fig.
4 - Inner ring of conical roller bearing
q   Remove → Fig.
q   Insertion → Fig.
5 - Secondary shaft for 5th/6th and reverse gear
q   Adjusting → Chapter
6 - Synchronizer body for the reverse gear
q   Releasing → Fig.
q   Fitting position → Fig.
q   Insertion → Fig.
7 - Circlip
8 - Reverse gear mobile element
q   With synchronizing ring
9 - Bearing socket for the reverse gear mobile pinion
10 - Reverse gear mobile pinion
11 - Sleeve
q   Release from above the reverse gear mobile pinion
q   Fitting position: the wide collar of the sleeve must point towards the mobile pinion of the reverse gear
q   Insertion → Fig.
12 - Circlip
13 - Needle bearing for the 6ª gear
14 - 6th gear mobile pinion
15 - Synchromesh ring of 6th gear
q   Check for wear → Fig.
16 - Mobile sleeve/synchroniser body of the 5th and 6th gear
q   Release along with the 6th gear mobile pinion following the removal of the securing ring → Item
q   Dismantling → Fig.
q   Assembling the mobile element/synchroniser body and → Fig.
q   Insertion → Fig.
17 - Circlip
18 - Needle bearing for the 5th gear
19 - Synchromesh ring of 5th gear
q   Check for wear
20 - 5th gear mobile pinion
21 - Inner ring of roller bearing
q   Remove → Fig.
q   Insertion → Fig.
22 - Circlip
q   If the conical roller bearing socket → Item and the secondary shaft → Item are replaced then must be re-established
23 - Outer ring of roller bearing
q   Remove → Fig.
q   Insertion → Fig.
24 - Shim
q   Determine thickness → Chapter
25 - Gearbox casing
26 - Spring
q   Fitting position → Fig.
27 - Moveable sleeve
28 - Synchroniser body
29 - Locking element
q   3 units
