1 - Output shaft 3
2 - Needle bearing
3 - Synchromeshed gear for reverse gear
4 - Synchro-ring
5 - Locking collar and synchro-hub for reverse gear

q   The smooth side points to the end of the shaft, the »bulged« side to the mobile pinion of the reverse gear.
